We use sodium ascorbate as our sodium source, and Electrolyte Defense is designed to be taken multiple times daily. Many diets already include high sodium, so we opted for a balanced amount to support personalized, orthomolecular dosing.

How does this taste?
The "Strawberries & Cream" flavor has an earthy twist, thanks to spirulina. For a balanced taste, dilute with a larger water volume. Many enjoy it in a large water bottle.

Why does it turn dark when mixed?
The dark or greenish hue is from spirulina and fruit powder. It's normal and pH-dependent—adding something acidic can even change its color due to anthocyanins in the raspberry extract!
